Feedback from the people you support, every day of the year
A private QR code or link for clients, families and staff. You read every comment, reply to the ones that need it, and keep a record you can show.

The easiest way to gather feedback for CQC is to make it part of the week, not a once-a-year survey. Give the people you support, their families and your staff a private QR code or link they can use whenever something is on their mind, anonymously if they choose. Read what comes in, reply where it helps, and look at the themes each month. When an assessment comes, you already have a year of real feedback and a record of how you responded.
What is a feedback channel for care providers?
A feedback channel for care providers is a private way for the people who use a service, their families and the staff who work there to say what they think of the care, as it happens. CQC's assessment framework counts people's experience of care and feedback from staff and leaders among the kinds of evidence it looks at.
What CQC looks at
CQC assesses services against five key questions. Is the service safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led? Under each one sit quality statements, and CQC gathers several kinds of evidence to judge them. Two of those kinds come straight from people. One is the experience of the people who use the service and their families. The other is feedback from staff and leaders.
Make it easy to speak up
Most people won't fill in a long form, and many won't raise a worry face to face. A QR code in the office, on a care plan folder or in a welcome pack lets anyone leave a comment in under a minute, with no app and no login. They can stay anonymous, and if they want an answer they can leave a way to reach them, which you never see.
Reply, and keep the record
Feedback only counts when people see it lead somewhere. You can reply to each comment privately, even an anonymous one, and the conversation stays together. Concerns from staff can go to a confidential box that only named managers can read. Everything can be exported when you prepare for an assessment or a provider meeting.
See themes before they become problems
A comment about late calls on one round, or a carer who feels rushed, is easy to miss on its own. Seen together over a month, the pattern is clear. Optional AI insights group comments into themes on paid plans. Confidential boxes are kept out of AI analysis on every plan. If you turn on translation for one, a comment is only translated when someone on your team presses Translate, and the card tells people first.
Frequently asked questions
No. CQC doesn't require or recommend any particular tool. It looks at what people say about your service and how you respond, however you gather it.
Anyone with the QR code or link. That usually means the people you support, their families and friends, and your own staff. You can run separate boxes for each so the comments stay apart.
Yes. Staff can leave a comment without giving their name, and you can still reply to them. For the most sensitive concerns, a confidential box limits who can read them to the managers you choose.
You can export your comments and replies at any time. Many providers share themes and examples of what they changed, alongside their other evidence.
You can start free with one box and unlimited comments. Paid plans add more boxes, your team, confidential boxes and optional AI insights.
